School is almost done for the semester…
but I’m soooo busy. Three projects are due this week and next week, I have a speech and a drawing due. THEN, I have exams the following week. Seriously folks, in the past couple months, every week a major project or test was due. No rest until the end of this semester! However, during the holiday break I have to prepare a contract for a possible client, redesign my employer’s website, redesign my own website AND work 40 hours a week. At least we get holidays off! Anyway, it’s been awhile but I thought I’d post something here besides my whining.
So, I shall post my favorite (so far) picture of my ever growing bunny.

You can see more of Bigwig here.
PS. I’m trying to work on my procrastination and so far, I have not improved much but at least I’m getting better. How is your procrastination?
Cor Design Logos + Business Card
I can celebrate for a bit because I don’t have to worry about a speech until my fellow classmates in Public Speaking have finished theirs. This past week has been stressful but I’m glad I got through it. I found out Tuesday that I was to give a speech Thursday so I only had a day to get it all together. In the end, I was totally nervous but everybody thought I did a good job. I was video taped but I’m never going to watch it…ever.
The real reason for this post was to show the logo and business card I created for a class assignment in Computer Design Basics. It was definitely a great opportunity to create an identity for my future freelance business. (Yes, it really is going to be “Cor Design”.) Feast upon these:

I’m not quite sure about the colors or the typography.
A) This is what I created for the assignment. I was required to have type on a path. I don’t really like the “Cor Design” where it is, though.
B) Without type.
C) I thought I’d let my audience’s brains complete the letter ‘D’ but I realized that it might look too much like Corking Design’s logo.
Here’s the business card:

I’m still thinking of other layout options but this is what I have so far.
Please, feel free to tear apart all that I’ve shown you. I’m looking forward to your comments.
