I love to read but I find I don’t do it as much as I’d like to. At least I’m surrounded with so many options that I can’t get bored of reading. As the cliche goes, “Variety is the spice of life.” Plus, I’ve found a wonderful book swapping service at BookMooch. It’s a free service BUT you have to pay the price of postage to send a book to a Moocher. When you’re collection of books is overflowing you can add those books to your inventory. When someone Mooches from you, you get one credit so you can Mooch a book you’ve been wanting to read. It’s proving to be a wonderful service. I’ve already Mooched 10 books! Naruto Manga
Holy fillers Batman! I’m so tired of watching the anime that I turn to the manga for a more fast paced, to the point plot movement. It’s getting really interesting with all the twists appearing out of nowhere. Sasuke’s brother did WHAT?

As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner
The language is sometimes hard to comprehend but otherwise it’s a good read. Getting into the heads of several different characters makes the book interesting.

Waiting on: Kushiel’s Justice & Kushiel’s Mercy by Jacqueline Carey
The “Imriel Trilogy” is getting really good. I’ve read the first two chapters of “Justice” on Carey’s official website but I need more!

This is more of a study on skin color. I don’t know if I was successful with this. The color seems unnatural to me. I got this done a lot faster than my first digital painting but because I have other needs to fulfill, it took me a long time to finish. Plus, I’m a slow when it comes to learning something new. As you can see, I didn’t focus on the hair all that well. That shall be my next painting study! In the end, I’m quite proud of this.
