Weekend Inspiration: Power to the Poster

Power To The Poster is the former taken to dismantling the latter.

This website is for people to use a ready supply of well-designed, wild postings that comment on the issues of our time. These 11×17, B/W posters in PDF format are for anyone, anywhere to download, print and post.

I’m going to post these all over the tiny little town of Wagener, SC. Let’s see how many people I upset.

New Design On the Way!

I’m never happy with my website’s design so I’ve finally started working on a new Shizucor.com layout. Actually, I’ve been working on three previous designs but have moved on. With the help of Horizontal Way, I’m going to try a different kind of layout: the horizontal layout. Check out the website because it contains a list of other sites that have made the leap! Don’t worry, I’m going to make sure my visitors don’t have to use the scroll bar. :-)

Logopond – Identity Inspiration

If I don’t have a entry for the day, I should at least post something anyway, right? So, I’m going to do something I haven’t done in a long time: Site of the Day (which has been renamed “Interesting Websites” because I can’t seem to do this everyday).

Today’s interesting site is Logopond. I’ve been visiting this website for awhile now (probably since school began) and I must say, it has become such a great source of inspiration! I’ve recently joined this community but have yet to submit any of the logos I’ve done. Afraid of criticism, am I? Yes, especially from seasoned designers. Soon, I will work up the courage to upload something.

Anyway, if you love eye candy and inspiration like me, this is the place for you. There are plenty of clever, funny, elegant, and whimsical logos that can be found! Enjoy!

Not enough blogging!

There are so many things I’d like to blog about but I just can’t find the time! I have websites to post and cool items to talk about! Waaah!

OKay, I guess I shouldn’t make a pointless post with this so I’ll at least include the site of the day which I’ve been trying to write about for some time now.

Artzmania is an e-zine featuring outstanding work of different artists, designers, and photographers from all over the world. This is such a great tool for inspiration, and guess what, it’s free! There are 4 issues out now so go and download them!

BTB, this current design is pissing me off. Some browsers are moving the sidebar down and I don’t know why it’s doing that! So…a change will be made soon but Dan’s website is a priority. I have to keep telling myself that. I love you Dan but this website is my little baby. It’s gotta be nurtured to be a great design! I hope you understand. ;-)
