Weekend Inspiration: Food Tease

I enjoy cooking with my husband. It’s one of the things that keep us close, so I was delighted to find a website dedicated to food adventures of a Canadian couple living in Texas!

Food Tease is a food blog which was originally created to keep friends & family updated on what the couple has been up to in Texas. You can really tell they love to eat and try new recipes or ingredients! In this blog, you’ll find videos of the process of creating a dish and great food photography.

The ingredients they choose may not be on everybody’s list of favorite foods (well, most are certainly not on MY list – chicken hearts, anyone?). You know what, watching their videos makes  me want to try ingredients I’ve never wanted to try. Now if only I can get my husband to try beef heart…

Besides the awesome content which includes restaurant reviews, the design is fabulous as well. What can I say, I’m I love minimalist design! You really get a chance to focus on the quality content. Enjoy!

Weekend Inspiration: The Daily Figure

ODG Kyle T. Webster has a great blog featuring his daily (almost) figure drawings. They are absolutely stunning!

I’m always a fan of art work that showcases great use of negative space and his drawings definitely have that. All the drawings were drawn without references which is just evidence of the hard work Kyle has done to nurture his talent! Weekend Inspiration: Stina Persson

Stina Persson is an illustrator from Stockholm, Sweden. She’s worked with big clients like Coca Cola, Target, and Godiva Chocalatier, just to name a few. Being a lover of watercolor my favorites can be found in the Watercolor section. I love her style! She uses negative spaces to her advantage allowing for colors to really pop.
