I forgot IE7!

OOPS

I got way ahead of myself. I’m completely aware that the site doesn’t look quite right on Internet Explorer 7 so I’ll have that fixed as soon as I can which will be awhile. I’ve got two — no four websites to work on now. @_@

I’ve decided not to fix the IE6 problems. Sorry, it’s time to upgrade to IE7, Firefox, Safari, or Opera. So many choices!

I coded the first page today during my web design class whilst I stayed on track. Anyway, I’ve showed it to the fellow members of Freelance Switch Boards and received good critiques.

Horizontal Design

I’ve finished designing the layout for a horizontal version of my site but I’ve decided to stop working on a horizontal website. As different as it may be, I just don’t think it’s the best way to display a website with a lot of text especially a blog. I’ve seen great examples of horizontal websites but they have more pictures than words. Yeah, I could just use more pictures but I like writing (err typing) too even though I’m no good at it. :-)

New Design On the Way!

I’m never happy with my website’s design so I’ve finally started working on a new Shizucor.com layout. Actually, I’ve been working on three previous designs but have moved on. With the help of Horizontal Way, I’m going to try a different kind of layout: the horizontal layout. Check out the website because it contains a list of other sites that have made the leap! Don’t worry, I’m going to make sure my visitors don’t have to use the scroll bar. :-)

Changes

So, I decided to change a few things on this website but they aren’t big changes. It’s obvious what they are. When I have the time, though, I’m going to make a new theme that doesn’t suck so much or isn’t so boring (I’ve thrown away the new theme I was working on). For now, I’m not touching this theme anymore (hopefully).
