My first try at isometric pixel art

HouseWith the help of pixelfreak.com’s tutorial, I was able to make my first isometric house. It’s rather simple and it almost looks like the end result of the tutorial but added my own touches to it. I will definitely be doing more of these.

Pixelation.

I just added a link to a very cool site by Derek Yu. I found this site while I was searching for a good pixel art tutorial. I will be using it to make me cute emoticons. :-) Derek Yu’s website houses his artworks and the many games he has made. I have yet to download his games but I sure will do so pretty soon. Check him out!

I’ve always been interested in pixel art but I’ve never really tried to learn until now. If I’m successful with the emoticons, I may continue making more pixel art.

iTunes

So, I haven’t been using my iPod or iTunes (I’ve reverted back to primitive CDs so I can listen to them in my car). I decided to go to the iTunes music store and to my surprise(or maybe not) they have movies! I thought that was really cool until I saw the prices of some the movies. Having found out about Vongo, I was not impressed beacause you can download (unlimited) movies for only $9.99/month or just do the pay-per-view thing. But on the downside, you can’t load it on to your hand-dandy iPod. So, I guess you’re paying for having the ability to go portable? *shrug Ipod aside, I still think Vongo is a good deal if you don’t really want to watch movies on your iPod. I sure don’t.

On an another note, I downloaded the new version of iTunes and I must say it definitely looks better. Good job Apple! Damn you for being so cool yet so friggin’ expensive!
