Shizucor

So I have a blog — actually I have two blogs now! One powered by Wordpress and the most recent one powered by Viviti. Both blogs were basically ignored. The last time I posted anything was in October. This will not do at all! I’m paying for this domain so I definitely need to make good use of it. So now, I’m back with a new design and a new focus!

After trying Viviti for a few months, I recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to use CMS! Creating a theme and adding content is certainly easy but I decided to go back to WordPress because it just seemed to give me more control over my theme and content.

I’ve come up with a list of topics that I will cover in this blog. Personal posts are out the window! What you can expect from the new Shizucor:

• Free downloads: Themes, textures, wallpaper, and other graphics.
• Web Designer Neophyte Articles: These articles are targeted to those diving into web design for the first time. I will cover the process, basic design principles, XHTML, and CSS.
• Weekend Inspiration: I’ll feature a website every Saturday that is interesting or inspiring to me. I sure hope you’re also inspired!
• Work in progress/Completed Projects: I find it very helpful to get insight from people other than myself so I’ll be posting WIPs or finished projects for you to feast upon!

It’s a short list but at least I know what I’ll need to post! It’s a good way to keep me from ignoring my blog. How do you make sure you regularly post in your blog?
