Works in Progress
I have 3 different pieces that I’ve been working on since March I believe. I would have finished these pieces by now but I’ve been so busy with work at the pharmacy as well as doing part-time freelancing. Recently I’ve tried to update each piece but not to near completion.
Below is what I have so far of each piece:
Cirque Portrait
This was to be the second pixel piece that I’d showcase at Pixeljoint but as you can see, it is far from finished. It’s the most complete of the three so I’ll have to dedicate some more time to this one. With the help of an old self-portrait and a mirror, I was able to get proportions right.

Contortionist
I wanted to continue the cirque motif so I thought I’d pixel a contortionist. I drew from a photo, scanned the drawing, and traced it. I shall include the original picture once I complete it.

Portrait
When I saw some examples of digital painting, I decided that I should give digital painting a try. However, I haven’t painted a portrait in a loooong time so I’m basically a newbie in both actual media and digital media. I used a photo of Natalie Portman in a cover of Vogue but I made changes here and there. You can see the drawing as well as my little mistake with the ear. Yes, the ear was a little high. :-)

There you have it! I hope to finish all of these by my birthday, which is October 20th.
So, is there anything in your backburner waiting to be accomplished?
